Oma How it works The app About Privacy

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 25, 2026

OMA is an early-stage product. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the current OMA website.

Information We Collect

We currently collect information you voluntarily provide through our waitlist or other forms, including:

  • your email address;
  • why you are interested in OMA;
  • how you heard about OMA; and
  • other information you choose to provide.

Please do not submit medical records, lab results, or other sensitive health information through the current website.

Our hosting and security providers may also automatically process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location, to operate and protect the website.

How We Use Information

We use this information to:

  • operate the OMA waitlist;
  • understand interest in OMA;
  • develop and improve the product;
  • communicate with you about OMA; and
  • maintain the security of our website.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use personal information for targeted advertising.

We may provide information to service providers that help us operate the website, forms, database, email, or other infrastructure. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information when required by law.

Analytics and Tracking

We use Umami to understand page views, declared button and navigation clicks, product-tour views, and the four coarse application steps displayed during signup. Umami may group browser activity into sessions using technical request information such as IP address and user agent.

When Django accepts a new signup, our server sends Umami one separate aggregate accepted-signup event. That server event does not include application answers, contact details, free text, browser identity data, or a submission token.

We do not currently allow third parties to collect personal information through OMA for cross-site behavioral advertising.

We do not currently respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals because we do not use information for cross-site behavioral advertising.

Your Information

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you provided to us by contacting:

omahealth [at] proton [dot] me

We will delete requested information from our active records promptly, unless we are legally required to retain it.

Changes to This Policy

OMA is still under development. We will update this Privacy Policy if our data practices materially change, including before OMA begins collecting or processing health information.

Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
